Peak Proteins staff have more than 70 years experience in the practice of protein science to support drug discovery and design. We are offering research service based activities covered under service agreements and individual quotes.
We are able to model and engineer a target protein using a variety of software and bioinformatic packages in order to maximise success for a range of different final uses such as screening, different types of structural biology, biophysics and in vivo studies. We are using all common prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems and have a vast experience in the purification, modification and analysis of proteins to support project delivery.
Similarly we have extensive experience of providing structural biology support to enable structure based drug design. We have a deep understanding of how best to apply all the technologies of protein engineering, purification, crystallisation and crystallography to give the best chance possible of success. In addition we are used to working with medicinal and computational chemists to exploit this information to design better drugs.
