Bilateral Meetings
- Thursday (1:30pm – 6:00pm)
The Technology Directorate is part of the University of Liverpool. It manages a group of Shared Research Facilities that contain technologies to turn good ideas into groundbreaking research. These facilities cover biomedical research from the genome to the cell to the whole body, with particular expertise in Omics technologies and imaging.
Specific facilities include:
· Centre for Proteome Research
· NMR Metabolomics
· Centre for Cell Imaging
· Biomedical Electron Microscopy Unit
· Computational Biology Facility
· Centre for Pre-Clinical Imaging
· Cell Isolation Facility
Each facility is led by an eminent academic and supported by an expert team with an in-depth knowledge of their area and a wealth of experience supporting research programs.
The Technology Directorate’s Shared Research Facilities are open to external collaborators on a flexible basis tailored to research project needs.
Research Collaboration Opportunities
The Technology Directorate is offering access to its Shared Research Facilities to drive research and innovation. This will include access to cutting edge equipment and expertise in genomics, proteomics, cell biology and imaging science as well as computational biology. In addition, partners will have access to the technical expertise of the facility management teams who will provide advice and assistance with technically challenging projects. This access is offered on a flexible basis dependent on project needs.
